In Greek mythology, Hebe is the goddess of youth, immortality, and the prime of life. Her name comes from the Greek word hebe, which means "youth" or "bloom of youth". 

Meaning:

• Youth: Hebe is the goddess of eternal youth and the ability to restore youth to mortals. 

• Immortality: Hebe is associated with the divine realm and immortality. 

• Prime of life: Hebe is the goddess of the prime of life and the blossoming of nature and spring. 

Role: 

• Cupbearer: Hebe served as the cupbearer for the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus.

• Wife of Hercules: Hebe was the divine wife of Heracles, the Greek hero.

• Forgiveness: In Sicyon, Hebe was worshipped as the goddess of forgiveness or of mercy.

Art: 

• Hebe is often depicted as a young virgin, holding a cup and wearing a flower crown.

• She is often accompanied by an eagle (symbolising Zeus).
